Accept your invite
An administrator creates your Edmund account by inviting you. Accepting the invite is how you set a password and sign in for the first time.
New usersYou don’t create your own Edmund account. An administrator in your organization adds you from Organization settings → Users → Invite users, and Edmund emails you an invitation. Accepting it sets your password and signs you in to the app.
Accept the invite
Open the invitation email. Look for the message from Edmund in the inbox for the address your administrator used. If it isn’t there, check your spam or junk folder.
Follow the link. Select the link in the email to open the account setup page in your browser.
Set your password. Choose a password and confirm it. This becomes the password you’ll use to sign in from then on.
Sign in. Once your password is set, you’re signed in to the Edmund app and ready to start.
What you can see
Which projects appear once you’re in depends on your role and your team. Administrators see every project; other people see the projects assigned to their team and any that are unassigned. If a machine or line you expect isn’t there, ask your administrator to check your team and role.
With your account set up, the quickest way to learn Edmund is to ask it something at a real machine. See Your first answer to get to one cited answer in a couple of minutes.
