Feature flags
Feature flags let an administrator turn optional Edmund capabilities on or off for the whole organization.
AdministratorFeature flags live under Organization settings → General → Feature Flags. Each flag is a toggle for one optional capability. Changing a flag affects everyone in the organization, so it is an administrator setting. The table below lists every flag and what it controls.

suggestions | The chat starter prompts shown to users. See Suggestions. |
onboarding | The in-app product tour shown to users. |
datasource_influx_db | Whether InfluxDB appears in the Add data source options. |
datasource_oracle | Whether Oracle Database appears in the Add data source options. |
datasource_postgres | Whether PostgreSQL appears in the Add data source options. |
datasource_sql_server | Whether Microsoft SQL Server appears in the Add data source options. |
datasource_snowflake | Whether Snowflake appears in the Add data source options. |
feedback_alerts | Notifications related to when an answer is rated. |
Tip
Turning a datasource_* flag off removes that engine from the Add data source options, so no one can connect a new database of that type. It does not change a read-only user or the credentials you set up in your database. For how to connect an engine once its flag is on, see Data sources & SQL safety.
